Some see Dubai as a futuristic metropolis, while others see it as a luxury and tourism hotspot. Dubai is a city that provides the best of both worlds, so remember your camera.
Where can you find the best city views, unique angles, and experiences in a city full of skyscrapers and world records? We all know that the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa, is guaranteed to provide some stunning views, and it is undoubtedly the number one tourist attraction in Dubai; however, is it the only option for a birds-eye view? Or would you prefer to partake in one of Dubai’s more unusual activities?
Here, we’ll present a few fascinating and unique ways to enjoy Dubai’s city vistas – some more adrenaline-pumping than others!
Dubai’s Frame

At only 48 storeys high, the Dubai Frame is nowhere near as lofty as the Burj Khalifa, but it is surely a unique opportunity to take in some magnificent city views of both the modern cityscape of Dubai to one side and the older portion of the city and Dubai Creek to the other.
You are escorted from the past to the future as they cross the glass-bottomed frame (the world’s largest “frame”) before returning to earth and catching a peek of the future. Tickets are certainly less expensive than those for the Burj Khalifa, and the lines are not nearly as long!
Fly Across the Dubai Desert in a Hot Air Balloon

Starting from the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, this is perhaps one of the most spectacular and dramatic views of Dubai. Prepare for an early start as you depart from your Dubai hotel at 4:30 a.m. to prepare for your safety briefings and lift-off. This is an excellent approach to properly appreciate the expanse of the desert and obtain a new perspective on this natural wonder that attracts numerous people each year.
This Hot Air Balloon Ride begins at sunrise. The Sunrise Balloon Flight with Breakfast allows you to lift off before dawn and see the sun rise above the Hajar Mountains. You’ll get to see the desert fauna and meet a Peregrine falcon before enjoying a substantial breakfast.
View from The Palm

The View at the Palm is the city’s latest and greatest observation deck, located on the 52nd story of the renowned Palm Tower in the heart of Palm Jumeirah. You will be able to take many photos of the world-famous The Palm while standing on its 787-foot (240-meter) outdoor terrace and enjoy views of the city and the gulf.
The Entry Ticket to The View at the Palm lets you enjoy the spectacular views from its glass-framed observatory and the immersive experience at The View Exhibition.
The Burj Al Arab’s High Tea
You cannot get inside the Burj Al Arab unless you are a paying guest, and what better way to experience it than over afternoon tea? SkyTea on the 27th floor’s Skyview lounge is the most highly recommended, albeit it comes at a steep price, starting at 500 AED for adults.
Dubai Skyline From the Water
Not all breathtaking sights in Dubai must be seen from above. Make sure you get out on the water at some point during your trip to Dubai. A speedboat ride around Palm Jumeirah with views back to the ultra-modern cityscape can be rewarding, as can a ferry excursion from Al Ghubaiba to Dubai Marina, which will take you along much of the city’s magnificent coastline and past the Palm Jumeirah.
The Dubai Fountain

The world’s largest synchronized fountain system built on the beautiful Burj Khalifa Lake is a sight you would not want to miss. As the world’s tallest performing fountain, the water, light, and music show is a mesmerizing sight and a wonderful opportunity for photographs, making it one of the most perfect destinations to visit in Dubai for couples. If “impressive” is what you’re looking for, you’ll find it here around 6:00 p.m.
Vida Creek Harbour
Most sites along the Creek provide spectacular views of the Dubai cityscape, but we like the one from the spanking new VIDA Creek Harbour Hotel. You will be able to see the skyline as if you were on a panoramic view. Whether the sun is shining off it by day or it’s lighted up by a thousand multi-colored sparkling lights by night, you can grab some fantastic Instagram images.
With this, Dubai is a great blend of nature and modern architecture, making it one of everyone’s favorite places, thus grabbing the hearts of tourists; to admire this view, you should visit the spots indicated in the list. We hope this article has helped you see some spectacular views of Dubai.
